Season Finale Slated for Woodburn This Weekend

The PNSCA Power Punch Series will wrap up this coming weekend with the final doubleheader at Woodburn Dragstrip just south of Portland. As part of Woodburn’s 25th Annual Fall Classic, the PNSCA points race will come down to the wire.

There is plenty of room for movement in/out/among the top ten spots in the points chase. Last year, the top 10 finishers took home almost $4000 in combined cash. Please make plans to be a part of the excitement, and get your share of this bounty.

Also, we’re looking for ideas/suggestions/comments regarding an end-of-the-year banquet. Last year, we had a wonderful time at the Yoder/Bacon hosted event, and we’d like to have another this year. In the tradition of alternating north/south, we’d like to see something perhaps in the Tacoma area. If you have any ideas, suggestions, comments, recommendations, please post them at the thread in the forum (which you can find here) or simply add them as a comment to this post.  No need to register, just click on “comments” at the bottom of this post and put in your $0.02.

Let’s wrap up the PNSCA season with solid showing, so everyone please make plans to join us in Woodburn.  See you there!

Spent Labor Day weekend with Howard Johnson and he mentioned he would host the PNSCA banquet at his home in Graham. He said he had room to park 10 or 12 RV’s for out of town people and has hosted the banquet in the past. He said that someone will need to contact him with dates.
